May 15, 2018, Sochi - The State Atomic Energy Corporation Rosatom and the Chilean Atomic Energy Commission signed a memorandum of cooperation in the personnel training field aimed at the nuclear industry of the Republic of Chile. The document was signed during the 10th Atomexpo-2018 Forum.
On the Russian side, the Memorandum was signed by Deputy Director General for international relations of the State Corporation Rosatom Nikolay Spassky and from the Chilean side, by the Chilean Atomic Energy Commission Executive Director, Patricio Aguilera Poblete.
The Memorandum fixed framework agreements in the personnel education and training field for the Republic of Chile’s nuclear energy needs and related areas. It also envisions the organization of personnel training programs for nuclear projects; the organization of joint educational programs; the exchange of students and highly qualified personnel; the development of educational and scientific literature; and the organization of short-term internships, summer schools and seminars.
