Rusatom Service JSC and MVM Paks NPP Ltd. (Hungary) have signed an Addendum to the framework agreement on consulting services for remote engineering and technical support during operation of Paks NPP, Units 1-4.

The main purpose of the services lies in support provision in order to ensure quality, reliable and safe operation of reactor units of type VVER-440 at Paks NPP, Units 1-4.

Reportedly, JSC OKB “Gidropress” staff will be engaged in providing services through remote engineering and technical support.

The document has been signed on May 15th, 2018 at X International Forum Atomexpo held in Sochi. The signatories to the documents were General director Evgeny Salkov on behalf of Rusatom Service JSC and General director Istvan Hamvas on behalf of MVM Paks NPP Ltd.

Rusatom Service JSC was founded in 2011 and became a member of the "Electric Power" division of The Rosatom State Corporation. The company provides full range of services and supplies required for maintenance and repair for the foreign nuclear power plants that operate VVER-type reactors. Now, the company has been present on the market in 11 countries worldwide and services 22 of 37 existing NPP VVER power units outside Russia.
