October 2, 2019, Moscow - CONCERN TITAN-2 JSC, contractor for building and supply of equipment for Hanhikivi-1 NPP construction, has signed a contract with Framatome-Siemens, the French-German consortium, to supply Main Instrumentation and Control (I&C). 
The contract was signed following a competitive procedure with the participation of international companies that are market leaders in the field of integrated I&C solutions at nuclear facilities. 
Technical management and integration of I&C-related works within Hanhikivi-1 project will be executed by Rusatom Automated Control Systems JSC (RASU JSC), a subsidiary and integrator of ROSATOM State Corporation in the field of I&C. 
The contract was signed in Moscow within Russian Energy Week in the presence of Kirill Komarov, ROSATOM First Deputy Director General for Corporate Development and International Business, as well as Bernard Fontana, Framatome CEO and Willi Meixner, CEO Power Generation Operations, Siemens AG. 
Framatome technical solutions are used in the project design of LAES-2 – reference NPP for Hanhikivi-1. 
The primary task within the framework of the signed contract will be to ensure the development of documentation necessary for project licensing.
